Who We Are

Tommy’s Coffee is an initiative of St Thomas’ Church - a church in the heart of Newcastle with a vision to follow Jesus, build community, and love Newcastle.

We’re all about serving great speciality coffee, inviting people to know Jesus, and building the kingdom of God.

The idea of Tommy’s Coffee was conceived many years ago by Joel and Luke; two of the members of staff at St Thomas’. After much dreaming, praying, and planning, the idea eventually became a reality when the Tommy’s Coffee Cart opened to the public in May 2025. To learn more about the journey of starting a coffee business in a church, check out our video series on Instagram or TikTok.

All our coffee is roasted by our friends at CLO - a kingdom-minded roastery based in Leeds.

100% of our profit is donated to causes that are sharing the good news of Jesus.

Pop in for a coffee when you’re next in Newcastle - we’d love to meet you. And maybe we’ll see you Sunday?
